Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (Sacramento, CA)

Rivermark Bright Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Sacramento. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for water quality and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
