Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (Rochester, NY)

We are growing our team at Northwind Wren Energy and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 34 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for hardship programmes and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with usage data. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
