Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Cedar Orchard Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Cleveland. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for recycling loads and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with service complaints. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Cleveland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
