Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Westbrook Cedar Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Orlando design routes and schedules, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 56 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for route schedules and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with service alerts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Orlando. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
