Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Bright Water Authority and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for meter reading and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
