Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Redstone Pike Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Wichita. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on process improvement. Technicians are respected and trained. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for warranty claims and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Wichita. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
