Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Clearpath Hollow Freight Group is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for carrier rates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for carrier rates and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with proof of delivery. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
