Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Harborlight Union Foods Group produces packaged foods at its Rochester plant. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would join a large organisation of about 693 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for customer specifications and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with production batches. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
