Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Stonegate Glen Environmental Services Group is an environmental-services company in Tucson with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. You would join a large organisation of about 621 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for recycling loads and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with landfill records. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Tucson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
