Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Stonegate Beacon Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Rochester area. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
