Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Ironwood Keystone Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Grand Rapids, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Track performance measures for service alerts and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
