Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Stonegate Pine Manufacturing is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for production lines, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for production lines and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Little Rock. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
