Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Silverline Ivory Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Louisville. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 18 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for claims and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Louisville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
