Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Summit Ember Water Authority Group is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for water quality, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 966 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Oklahoma City. • We reply to every applicant.
