Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Clearpath Birch Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Kansas City, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 126 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for packing house output and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with harvest schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Kansas City. • We reply to every applicant.
