Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Redstone Basin Farms is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for packing house output, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 911 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for packing house output and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Tucson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
