Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Cedar Clear Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Salt Lake City design routes and schedules, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 49 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for route schedules and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with fare systems. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Salt Lake City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
