Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Stonegate Wren Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Sacramento, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Track performance measures for fleet maintenance and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with recycling loads. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
