Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Ironwood Sparrow Foods is a Cleveland food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for customer specifications and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Cleveland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
