Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (Providence, RI)

Cedar Haven Water Authority is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for billing accounts and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
