Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (Providence, RI)

Cedar Clear Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Providence, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 144 people based in Providence. What you will do • Track performance measures for production batches and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with allergen controls. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
