Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (Portland, OR)

Cedar Sparrow Farms is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for seasonal crews, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for seasonal crews and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with field records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
