Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (Philadelphia, PA)

Northwind Harbor Environmental Services Associates is an environmental-services company in Philadelphia with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for fleet maintenance and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with collection routes. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Philadelphia, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
