Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (Oakland, CA)

Bright Ember Water Authority Group operates treatment plants and pipelines around Oakland, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for pipe repairs and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
