Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (New Orleans, LA)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Lakeside Foods and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with production batches. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
