Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (Milwaukee, WI)

Northwind Thistle Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Milwaukee, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for capital projects and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Milwaukee, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
