Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (Miami, FL)

Cedar Vale Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Miami area. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would join a large organisation of about 615 people based in Miami. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with capital projects. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Miami. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
