Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (Madison, WI)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Mill Transit Planning and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for fare systems and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
