Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (Madison, WI)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Fern Transit Planning and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for accessibility audits and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
