Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (Knoxville, TN)

Silverline Beacon Water Authority Group supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Knoxville and nearby communities, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Track performance measures for water quality and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
