Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (Kansas City, MO)

Harborlight Junction Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Kansas City and nearby communities, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 64 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
