Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (Kansas City, MO)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Quarry Transit Planning and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for service alerts and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with ridership counts. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Kansas City. • We reply to every applicant.
