Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (Jackson, MS)

Nova Vale Water Authority Group is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for pipe repairs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Track performance measures for pipe repairs and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
