Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (Grand Rapids, MI)

Harborlight Glen Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Grand Rapids. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Track performance measures for billing disputes and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
