Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (Fort Worth, TX)

Harborlight Iron Manufacturing makes precision components in Fort Worth. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on process improvement. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Fort Worth. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
