Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (Dallas, TX)

Bright Nest Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Dallas plant, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for machine downtime and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
