Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (Colorado Springs, CO)

Westbrook Quarry Freight is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for carrier rates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for carrier rates and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with dock schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Colorado Springs. • We reply to every applicant.
