Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (Colorado Springs, CO)

Summit Rook Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Colorado Springs and nearby communities. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Colorado Springs. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for treatment plant data and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
