Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (Cleveland, OH)

We are growing our team at Nova Fern Freight and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for proof of delivery and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Cleveland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
