Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (Charlotte, NC)

Nova Mill Transit Planning Group plans bus and rail service for cities around Charlotte, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for accessibility audits and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with fare systems. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Charlotte. • We reply to every applicant.
