Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (Boston, MA)

Rivermark Clear Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Boston. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 157 people based in Boston. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with field inspections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Boston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
