Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (Boise, ID)

Summit Fox Construction is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for materials orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Boise. What you will do • Track performance measures for materials orders and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with project schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Boise. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
