Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (Birmingham, AL)

Nova Willow Construction builds commercial and industrial projects around Birmingham, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Track performance measures for subcontractor invoices and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with safety records. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
