Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Cedar Quarry Environmental Services Group and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for service complaints and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with recycling loads. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
