Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (Austin, TX)

We are growing our team at Northwind Lakeside Energy and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Austin. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for service connections and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
