Senior Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (remote)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Quill Farms and adding a Senior Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be preventive maintenance. We are a family-run business at heart. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for harvest schedules in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
