Senior Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (remote)

Fernwood Pine Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in Austin. We are hiring a Senior Maintenance Technician to take on preventive maintenance. You would join a small organisation of about 152 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for repair requests in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with repair requests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
