Senior Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (remote)

Nova Bright Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Chicago. We are hiring a Senior Maintenance Technician to take on preventive maintenance. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for meter reading in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
