Senior Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Oakland, CA)

Silverline Juniper Foods produces packaged foods at its Oakland plant. We are hiring a Senior Maintenance Technician to take on preventive maintenance. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for sanitation schedules in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with sanitation schedules. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
