Senior Maintenance Technician - preventive maintenance (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Nova Birch Freight and adding a Senior Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be preventive maintenance. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for carrier rates in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with carrier rates. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
